Production Part Approval Process
Our Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) outlines the methods used for approval of production parts, up to and including the part submission warrant required under the Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) process.
The purpose of the PPAP process is to ensure that Romeo RIM, Inc. has complied with the design specifications and that the production process has the potential to produce product meeting these requirements during an actual production run at the quoted production rate.
PPAP documentation is collaboratively agreed upon during the APQP process. Typical elements of the PPAP process are:
