Enviromental Specialist (Romeo, MI)
Macomb County, Michigan manufacturing company with satellite plants in two states seeks individual with 2 to 5 years experience monitoring compliance to environmental regulations to include filing reports per state and federal requirements with regard to air, water and waste. Individual will have strong background with the experience to lead the completion of implementing and maintaining of our ISO14001 system. Experience with interacting with regulatory agencies and managing permits is required. Job will include working with management and employee’s to provide proper training and ensure employees remain our number one objective. A bachelor’s degree is preferred in a related field. Required skills include MS Office, some travel, ability to multi-task, work independently, and effectively communication at all employee levels.
